What time is check in and check out?
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 12pm. If you are doing activities before check in or after check out we will gladly hold your bags for you and provide shower facilities on departure.
Can I get late check out?
We do offer late check out if the room is not urgently required for that afternoon. There is a charge of €10 per hour for this service.
Is there WIFI access in the rooms?
Yes, we provide wifi access in the rooms and in the library of the hotel, located to the right of reception. Due to our location, however, the internet can sometimes be quite slow.
Can non residents avail of the hotel facilities?
Yes, all are more then welcome to use the adventure centre, spa and restaurant. Advance booking is required.
Are there TV's in the bedrooms?
No I'm afraid there are no TV's in the entire resort. We do however have DVD combos and a selection of DVD's that you are welcome to use during your stay. There is limited availability of these units so they are given on a first come first served basis. We also have iPod docking stations in all rooms.
Can we get phone reception in the hotel?
Mobile phone reception is minimal to non existant throughout the resort. There will be pockets of coverage but we would not recommend relying on them. We do have land lines in all the rooms so you can make out going calls(at standard hotel phone charges) and we can transfer any incoming calls to you.
Which rooms have balconies?
All rooms in the courtyard on the upper level have balconies. This varies between our Cosy Double Rooms and Luxury Suites. There are no balconies in the 2 bedroom suites.
What time do activities start?
There are 2 sessions each day. The AM session begins at 9.30am or 10am depending on activity - 1pm and the PM session begins at 2pm - 5pm.
How many activities can you fit in one session?
In each session you have time to do 1 water activity or 2 land activities.
Are there age limitations on activities?
Yes there are certain age restrictions on activities. Most activities are suitable for ages 8 and up. Please see our individual activity pages for further information on age limitations.
What are the minimum and maximum group numbers required for an activity?
To open up a new session of activities we need a minimum of 4 people. For water activities the maximum number for each group is 8 and for land the maximum group size is 12.
Is use of the thermal suite complementary for hotel guests?
Our Thermal Suite is subject to availability.
The Thermal suite is complimentary to our guest for the duration of 1 hour. Additional access to the thermal suite is available for purchases at a rate of €15 per hour per person. The rate for a non resident guest is €30 per person per hour.
Do I need to book treatments in advance?
We would recommend that you book your treatments up to 2 weeks in advance if possible to avoid the disappointment of there not being availability when you arrive. This is particularly important for people who have booked a package with inclusive spa treatments.
Is there an age limit for using the spa?
Yes patrons of both the spa and thermal area must be over 18.
What do I need to bring to use the spa?
You will just need a swimsuit. Towels, robes and slippers are provided.
What are the opening times for the spa?
The spa is open from 10am to 7pm.
Are there any restrictions for pregnant women on what they can use in the spa?
Yes, there are restrictions depending on what stage of pregnancy you are at, for example seaweed baths are not advised during the first trimester (3 months). This is purely for your own safety and the safety of your baby. For more information on this we would strongly advise that you discuss it at the time of booking with the spa (095 42106) to avoid disappointment.
What time does the restaurant serve from?
Breakfast is from 8.00am - 10.30am
Lunch is from 1.00pm - 2.00pm
Dinner is from 6.30pm - 9.00pm
There is also a bar menu which is daily from 12.30pm - 9pm.
Do I need to make reservations for the restaurant in advance?
We do recommend that you make reservations as early as possible as the restaurant does get very busy.
Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?
Yes, we can cater to any special requirements you have but we will need to be notified in advance.
Do you do room service?
Yes, we do provide room service, there is a menu in the welcome folder in your room.
