What time will the event start?
Event registration starts at 8am in the Adventure Hub building at Delphi Resort.
The event start time is 10am and will run in waves of 25 participants every 30 minutes.
Time slots have been sent to you in an email. Please allow a minimum of 1.5hrs before your starting time to register for the event and check in your bike.
Where does the event start and finish?
The event now starts and ends at Delphi Resort.
Where do I park my vehicle?
Parking is available at Delphi Resort.
Where can I view the event route map?
What if I’m not an experienced kayaker, should I still participate?
All our kayaks are user friendly sit-on top crafts, and full safety cover will be in place on the day.
Can I use my own kayak or bike?
To keep the kayak section fair and safe, Delphi will provide all kayaks and safety equipment.
Bikes are provided by Delphi but use of your own bike is encouraged. If you require a bike for the event please contact the resort on 095 42208. All participants must bring along their bike safety helmet to the event.
I don’t have my own bike, how do I reserve one?
To reserve a bike from Delphi Resort for the event, please contact us directly on 095 42208.
Road bike or mountain bike?
The cycling section of the race is entirely on sealed, tarmac roads. Both road bikes or Mountain bikes would be suitable. Road bikes are generally faster, however please be aware that the road surface can be rough in places so thin tyres can be more prone to puncture. A hybrid style bike would be a great compromise for the event.
